In November we launched a new site for the boyzone re-union along with developing video content and an on line marketing campaign for the 2008 tour. Within an hour of the band mentioning the tour web site on BBC Children in Need 1000's of UK and Irish fans of the band had subscribed to a mailing list. As well as the boyzonetour.com web site there is also a boyzonetour.tv site to specialise in hosting video content.

The Old Glen House is a pub with a growing reputation for its food. In 2006 it won the best food pub in Yorkshire and Humberside. John and Gemma, the owners, had never had a website and started off with a single page site that caught the atmosphere and image that they wanted to convey. This was completed within the week and allowed them time to consider their next move. They have since added content in the form of menus and wine lists and a little about where they source their produce. This enables visitors to be able to learn a little about the food in advance of their visit to the pub. There are plans to add more content to the site including recipes from the head chef Jamie Rylance, possible in the form of video podcasts. |

Hambleton Kitchens are suppliers and fitters of kitchens in a variety of styles. Again this was the first venture for the company into the internet and the owner Paul Ideson started with a single page site while we reviewed the best ways to give visitors the information they required. The second stage of the production was to add a Flash movie to the top of the site which would scroll through all the designs available in the kitchen range. A link was added to take users to a page where they can browse through the various styles of kitchen and then roll over links to display colours available in that style. Paul's aim with the site is to provide his customers with a means of narrowing down their choice by short listing the designs and styles that they would like to know a little more about. Future plans include adding accessories and fittings to the site and an ecommerce solution. |

Nick Rampley-Sturgeon is an author who has written non-fiction books about small business and property investment for a number of years. He took the decision to self-publish his latest book, The Money Seminar, and came to us at Recorded Devilery to help with a web site, content production and internet marketing. We produced a web site with a mailing list facility and shopping cart which allows users to buy both hard copy and electronic versions of the book. We also produced an audiobook version in our studio which can be downloaded from the site. Following production of the site we recorded a series of audio and video podcasts and made them available on iTunes in order to help with marketing and awareness of the site. Future plans include more multi media marketing materials and further recordings of audibooks to add to the site. |
